Band leader of Impacto Nuevo Cleveland’s Salsa band for 13 years. Voted the best Salsa band in the tri-state area (OH, MI, PA) by the Cleveland Plain Dealer (Scene Magazine 1993), the Philadelphia Tribune (World Music 1988) and Detroit Metro Times (Salsa Congress 1991)

Composer of “A Tú Manera”, a song that hit in the top 5  on Radio Sol, Miami’s number one Salsa music station for 5 consecutive weeks.

Percussionist for Aretha Franklin at the Plum festival in June 1982 at the Cleveland Stadium

Percussionist for India, a world renowned Salsa singer in July 2015 at the Columbus Latino Fest.

Producer of Impacto Nuevo’s Salsa music CD (Platano Records 1995) and Sammy Deleon Latin Jazz Band (WP Records 1998).
